Technical Animator

We are looking for a cool Technical Animator in  RedPad Games. You will work on developing our MMO project that will change the vision of post-apocalypse.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

- building an animation graph in the project for the main characters and NPCs;

- writing logic and scripts for the animation graph in Unreal Engine;

- work together with programmers and animators to build an animation set;

- work in blueprints and C ++ to write additional logic for animation blends, montages, and transitions in the state machine;

- work with Physics Assets and Cloth Simulation in Unreal Engine;

What kind of professional are we looking for?

- understanding how animation blueprint and state machine work in Unreal Engine 5;

- basic level of C++ and BP for writing the logic of the animation blueprint;

- basic understanding of rig and skin structure;

- knowledge of the main animation tools in Unreal Engine (AnimNotify, BlendSpace, AimOffset, Additive Animations, IK Solver, etc.)

- a portfolio with relevant experience;

Come in handy:

- Experience setting up facial animations in Unreal Engine;

- Basic knowledge of Autodesk Maya 3D package;

- Knowledge of additional animation technologies such as Motion Warping, Full Body IK, Virtual Bones, etc.

- 2+ years of work in a similar position;
